About Hamilton Relaxed Performance
WHAT IS A RELAXED PERFORMANCE?
Go Live Theatre in collaboration with the multi-award-winning musical Hamilton are proud to be offering our first Relaxed Performance of Hamilton on Wednesday 29 April 2026 at 6.30pm at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
Through this collaboration, Go Live Theatre will deliver an inclusive and welcoming experience for audiences who would benefit from a more laidback theatre-going environment. Especially for those with neurodiversity, learning difficulties, special educational needs and/or disabilities.
The performance will be carefully adapted to support neurodiverse audience members, including those on the autism spectrum and individuals with sensory or communication needs.
As with all Go Live Relaxed Performances, the performance will be adapted in the following ways:
- Adjustments to the show, such as reduced sound levels, special effects and other technical adaptations that soften contrasts.
- This performance supports noise and movement within the auditorium during the show and allows audiences to leave and re-enter as they need to.
- House lights will be kept on at a low level throughout to support movement.
- Chill out spaces will be available in front of house areas.
- There will be a pre-show announcement from the cast to welcome you to the theatre and familiarise you with the show.
- Ear defenders are available on request.
- A visual story that will explain what to expect at the show will be available two weeks prior to the performance.
In a Relaxed Performance technical elements are softened, but there is a live band located in the orchestra pit by the stage and some songs include loud bass. If you are sensitive to noise, we recommend you avoid seats near the stage.
The performance will now also start at the earlier time of 6.30pm.
As Hamilton contains some strong language, the show is appropriate for ages 10+. Content warnings can be found here. However, if you have specific content questions that may affect your visit, please contact Customer Service.

ABOUT HAMILTON
Hamilton is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the very foundations of the America we know today. The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway - the story of America then, as told by America now.
Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire and is based on Ron Chernow's biography of Alexander Hamilton.
