About Mary Poppins
Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s multi award-winning musical Mary Poppins is flying high at the Prince Edward Theatre.
The magical story of the world's favourite Nanny is triumphantly and spectacularly brought to the stage with dazzling choreography, incredible effects and unforgettable songs.
The stage production of Mary Poppins is brilliantly adapted from the wonderful stories by PL Travers and the original film. It is co-created by Cameron Mackintosh and has a book by Oscar-winning screenwriter and Downton Abbey creator, Julian Fellowes. With a timeless score by Richard M Sherman and Robert B Sherman including the classic songs; Jolly Holiday, Step in Time, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and Feed the Birds with new songs and additional music and lyrics, including Practically Perfect, by the Olivier award-winning British team of George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.
Louis Gaunt to play Bert in 'Supercalifragilistic' Mary Poppins
Disney and Cameron Mackintosh are delighted to announce that Louis Gaunt will join the cast of Mary Poppins from 22 June 2022 to play the iconic role of Bert, replacing Charlie Stemp whilst he performs as Bobby in the Chichester Festival Theatre production of Crazy for You this summer.

A limited number of £30 Day Tickets are released each morning at 10.30am for performances that same day. Patrons will be able to purchase a maximum of 2 tickets via a button below when it becomes available. When they’re gone, they’re gone!

Some Things You Need to Know
Mary Poppins is recommended for a general audience.
Mary Poppins contains theatrical smoke and fog effects, pyrotechnics, strobe lighting and loud noises.
There will be an auditorium blackout of 8 seconds around 8 minutes into the performance.
Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old. Children under the age of 5 will not be admitted. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.
You may not bring food or drink purchased elsewhere.
