Please note: All persons aged under 16 must be accompanied and sat next to the accompanying adult. They may not sit on their own within the auditorium. If children do have separate seats you could be refused entry. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Backstage tours can be booked in conjunction with school visits to LES MISÉRABLES. These run on Wednesday mornings at 10.30am 11.30am and 12.30pm and give a fascinating insight into how a West End musical is produced and how spectacular stage effects are achieved. (Alternative tour dates can be requested).

Education Workshops and Backstage Tour


Make the most of your school visit to the production and book for a LES MISÉRABLES workshop which gives an insight into the history of the musical and stagecraft used during the performance. This practical workshops enables participants to understand more about the historic context of the production and encourages them to develop performance skills.

Workshop (10+): £8.50 per pupil.

Backstage Tour: £5.00 per pupil . A Teacher's pack for Key Stage 3+4, GNVQ and A-Levels are also available.

Les Misérables - Choral Workshop


"Do you hear the Children sing?"

Discussion about singing in different genres vocal warm up. Exercises about the use of text and it's relationship with the music, timing and singing at the same time. Learn to sing one of the numbers in harmony. Put together a short ensemble scene from the production.

Choral Workshop: £8.50 per pupil, running time 1 hour.

The Miz Kids' Club


The Miz Kids’ Club at the Queen's Theatre, based on the legendary production of Les Misérables, gives children a unique opportunity to enter the world of theatre.

This two and a half hour Les Misérables experience includes a backstage tour, drama workshop with improvisation games, the opportunity to meet a cast member and an exclusive certificate of attendance. Find out more here.
