Irish born Jessie Buckley has been praised as one of the brightest rising stars on the musical theatre scene. After gaining warm national recognition through her television appearances she went on to portray the vocally challenging role of Anne Egerman in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC directed by the legendary Trevor Nunn, firstly at the prestigious Menier Chocolate Factory and then on the West End. For this role she was deservedly nominated for the whatsonstage.com award for ‘Best Supporting Actress’.
Her Valentine’s Week 2009 cabaret debut at London’s leading supper club Pizza on the Park sold out and earned her more plaudits.
