Proposed activity for workshop
The workshop will kick off with warm up exercises that explore the ‘seven deadly sins’ - and this will be linked to the main themes of the play.
The workshop participants will then take part in an exercise that is based on risk taking games shows. Current headlines relating to current financial matters and celebrity will be shown to the students. They will then be asked to devise a short improvisation based on one of the headlines. This activity will reinforce how relevant 2010’s financial issues are to the play. This will highlight themes connected to the euphoria of success and making money quickly.
