Database and Marketing Manager
Delfont Mackintosh Theatres are seeking to recruit a Database and Marketing Manager who will be responsible for maximising sales through our box offices, phone rooms and website.

Position: Database and Marketing Manager
Reporting to: Sales and Ticketing Manager
Job Function: The Database and Marketing Manager will be responsible for maximising direct sales through the DMT box offices, phone rooms and website and providing marketing support to all producers in DMT venues.
Responsibilities:
Database Management
• To maintain and manage the DMT customer database
• To strategically manage 3rd Party database usage
• To work with Box Office Operations Manager to ensure data is recorded accurately, DPA questions are asked and email addresses taken
• To ensure the database conforms to DPA legislation
Phone and Online Sales
• To undertake direct mail and email campaigns and manage their distribution
• To provide accurate reports on the success and value of such campaigns
• To provide lists of data where required and manipulate the database to provide the best possible returns
• To liaise with the company’s ticketing service provider for development and other issues
Website Management
• To manage the content of the DMT website, ensure accurate show information and update as appropriate
• To ensure all show websites link directly to the DMT ticketing site
• To ensure inclusion of DMT web address on all print and advertising
• To maximise the promotion of the DMT website on all search engines
Print
• To agree the inclusion of DMT box office and groups telephone numbers on all print
• To co-ordinate distribution of print around all DMT venues and schedule inclusion of print in despatch of tickets
• To ensure correct and accurate box office and pricing information is on all leaflets and print
• To ensure accurate representation of DMT logos and brand in all published materials
• To help produce exhibition materials
Client Management
• Provide a client management and marketing support function to producers
• Liase with all DMT and CML departments where necessary
• Work closely with the CML marketing department
Commercial Activity
• Investigate areas of commercial activity to complement DMT sales and ticketing
• Develop and secure 3rd party sales relationships and distribution channels
Groups and Education
• To produce groups’ and education guides
• To secure advertising for the groups’ and education guides
• Manage the groups’ and education marketing budget and the execution of agreed activity
• Develop groups/education sales of non-DMT shows
DMT Priority
• Planning and co-ordination of Priority Membership events
• Distribution of newsletter and marketing materials to Members
• General administration of the Membership scheme
• Maintaining ongoing recruitment of new members and the renewal of existing members
General
• Providing marketing support to ongoing and one-off events at DMT
Skills
• A graduate with numeracy and communication skills
• A comprehensive working knowledge of West End theatre / entertainment industry
• Proven database management within a ticketing environment - ideally with at least 2 years experience
• Highly motivated, organised and pro-active individual who is able to project manage tasks to tight deadlines
• Marketing, distribution and ticketing experience
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Be computer literate with Word and Excel skills and ideally experience of computerised ticketing systems
• Knowledge of ENTA or other ticketing systems
